I’m Dr. Anna Macedonia, an educator, parent, advocate, and policy specialist dedicated to helping families and schools work together to create meaningful, equitable educational experiences for students with disabilities.
Drawing on over a decade of experience in special education teaching, leadership, and federal service and policy, I help families, educators, and administrators navigate the complexities of special education processes (like IEPs, 504 plans, and evaluations) with clarity, compassion, and confidence. As a Northern-Virginia-based special education advocate, I provide virtual and in-person support to ensure students receive the services they are legally entitled to under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
How I Support Families and Schools
Based in Northern Virginia, I proudly support clients in Virginia and nationwide. I provide special education advocacy for students in Preschool (PreK)- 12th grade, Individualized Education Program (IEP) consulting, 504 plan support, inclusive education consulting, and teacher preparation guidance for families, schools, districts, and higher-education partners.
